Vhi GAA Cul Camps 2008
Our 2008 Vhi GAA Cul camps concluded last week and what a success they have turned out to be. For the first time since GAA camps began we had over 1000 children attending. To everyone who helped make our camps such a success, clubs, Parents, Children, camp coaches and supervisors, local media etc., we say a very big thank you.
We would also like to say a special word of thanks to our camp ambassadors, Emlyn Mulligan and Sinead Brennan and also to Willie Donnellon and James Molloy for all their help with photos from the camps.

Hurling Camp.
Twenty young up and coming hurlers are taking part in our hurling camp in Manorhamilton this week. This three day camp is been conducted by Micheal Dolan and Daithi Hughes.

U-16 Development Squad.
On Saturday last, our under 16 squad took part in the Ted Webb competition in Tubbercurry. The squad played three games in the blitz, loosing out to a Galway divisional selection in their first game by six points. In their second game they went down to Sligo by three points in a game where they had chances but failed to convert at vital stages. Game three saw the lads beat a Mayo divisional selection but other results meant this victory was not enough to secure a place in the final. Well done to all involved with this squad.

Under 14 School of excellence.
All under 14 players who attended the trials a few weeks back are asked to please attend the next session on Saturday 09/August in Drumshanbo GAA park at 1.00pm. For further information please contact Cormac Flynn on 087-6787716.
