St. Patricks GAA Club Dromahair Notes

Celebrity Bainisteoir

We all had a great day last Friday with the arrival of Celebrity Bainisteoir in Dromahair. The cameras arrived at 10am to film a training session and interview some of the club players, mentors and officers. After lunch the celebrity was revealed and we had a great crowd in the park for Katherine Lynchs arrival. Once Katherine had been introduced to the team our manger David Downes handed her the Bainisteoirs jacket and she took the team for her first training session. Filming finished around 4pm. Everyone involved with the club can be very proud of all the work put in to prepare for Friday, we would also like to thank all our supporters who turned up in the afternoon especially the teachers and pupils from the local schools. Thanks also to all the local businesses that helped us out over the last few weeks.

First Game

The Draw has been made for the first round of Celebrity Bainisteoir and we are playing Cuala Casements from Dalkey. Their Celebrity Manager is George Hook and the match will take place at the end of February.
