National Club Draw – Thank you to all those who purchased these tickets. The National Club Draw will take place on Thursday 8th March 2018. We held the Local Draw last week at an open meeting for the pitch development in the Community Centre. Congratulations to Martin McGeough Rossinver who won a €100 Hamper sponsored by SPAR Kinlough. Teresa McGowan Spa Brae who won a €50 Fuel Voucher sponsored by Mcgurran Oil Mcgurran. Christina Foley Kinlough who won a Melvin Gaels Rainjacket sponsored by Melvin Gaels.
Leitrim Supporters Club Draw – Tickets for the above draw are now on sale and are available from any club member.
Leitrim Win – Well done to the Leitrim team on Sunday in Pairc Sean when they beat Limerick. Good to see the Gaels lads Liam, Darragh and Killian all taking part. Good Luck against London at the weekend.
Good Win for Under17s – The under 17s had a good win over Glencar/Manorhamilton on Saturday in Melvin Park. On Saturday next they travel to Annaduff for a game at 12noon. Good luck to all. espite a good performance on Sunday the Under 13s were beaten by a strong Dromahair team.
Sympathy – The Club extends Deepest Sympathy to John Britton, Principal, Four Masters National School, Kinlough on the death of his father Brian Britton, Blackrock, Co Louth last week. May he rest in peace.
Senior Scór – Calling all local talent!! Scor Sinsir Liatroma will take place on Saturday, March 3rd at 7.30pm. The Leitrim quiz competition takes place on the same day at 6pm. It would be great to have people represent Melvin Gaels, particularly in the Solo Singing or Recitation section. Also, we hope to have a quiz team represent us this year. Lights On Weekly Walk Group – Melvin Gaels and Kinlough Community with the GAA, in partnership with RTÉ’s Operation Transformation, completed the six nights walk on Monday night with another great turn out. Thanks to all who took part over the weeks. Thanks also to all who helped with organising the Monday night walks.
