Swan Bar Division 3 – Hard Luck to the Junior team who defeated in their opening league game against Drumkeeran. Score: Aughawillan: 6 points, Drumkeeran: 1-12  They now play Eslin in Eslin on Sunday 18th March at 12pm.

Ladies Football – Hard Luck to the Aughawillan Ladies’ who were defeated by Dromahair in both Senior and Junior games last Sunday. Their next Senior game is Wed. 14th March in Kiltubrid at 8.30pm. Keep up to date with the ladies’ team on their new Facebook page – Aughawillan Ladies GFA.

Poker Classic – Aughawillan GAA are holding their traditional Good Friday Poker Classic in Aughawillan Community Centre on Friday, April 30th at 9.30pm. Registration from 9. Entry €20, rebuys €5, 50/50 cash prizes. Refreshments served on the night. All welcome to come along to what is always a very enjoyable night.

Dublin – Aughawillan Sponsored Cycle – Martin Flanagan and Gary Deane are holding a table quiz in Jackie’s Bar on March 16th at 9pm, spot prizes and refreshments on the night. Great way to start St Patrick’s Weekend!

Referees Wanted – In order for the GAA and its games to survive, we need to recruit new referees. A special effort is been made to recruit new referees, so if you are interested or know of anybody interested please contact a member of the executive.

Allianz Leagues 2018 – Well done to the Leitrim Hurlers who beat Cavan last weekend and are now in the Division 3B League Final. Best of Luck to the Leitrim Footballers who play Waterford in Ardmore on Sunday 18th March at 2pm.
