Poker Classic – Aughawillan GAA are holding their traditional Good Friday Poker Classic in Aughawillan Community Centre on Friday March 30th at 9.30pm. Registration from 9. Entry €20, rebuys €5, 50/50 cash prizes. Refreshments served on the night. All welcome to come along to what is always a very enjoyable night.

Dublin – Aughawillan Sponsored Cycle – Gary Deane and Martin Flanagan had a hugely successful table quiz St Patrick’s Weekend to fundraise for the cycle and the upgrade of the playing surface. Thank you to the sponsors on the night – McDevitt’s Pharmacy, Pyramid Bookmakers, Tesco, Supervalu, Teresa Kennedy, Glenview, Fresh Today and Jackies’ Bar. Thanks also to Jackies’ for hosting the quiz, Gerard McGovern for the amplification and Damien Gilheany for doing MC duties on the night. Referees Wanted – In order for the GAA and its games to survive, we need to recruit new referees. A special effort is been made to recruit new referees, so if you are interested or know of anybody interested please contact a member of the executive.
