St Mary’s Kiltoghert GAA Club Notes 26/06/2018

RESULTS – Our Division team 3 team lost out to Carrigallen in the Swan Bar League on Sunday last on a score line of 3.14 to 2.14. Our U12 teams played Clonguish in two very competitive games on Thursday last in the Cross-Border League, well done to all the players, we won the first game by a goal and unfortunately lost our second game by two points.

U12 GIRLS – Well done to our U12 girls who beat Dromahair in Round 2 of the Div 1 (15 aside) League on Tuesday last.  We now play Melvin Gaels in Kinlough tomorrow Tuesday at 7pm in Round 3 of this League.

Well done to Our U12 (11 aside) girls had their first game of the championship against St. Brigid’s on Friday last.  Well done to the girls who competed very well considering they were missing a number of key players on the night, we now play Allen Gaels on Thursday evening in Páirc Naomh Mhuire at 7pm.

UNDERAGE ACADEMY – Well done to our U9 boys who played at half time of the Leitrim V’s Louth game on Sunday.  The boys thoroughly enjoyed this experience which was even more exciting when Leitrim got a great win.

Training will continue at St. Mary’s pitch this Saturday from 10am to 11am for U7 and U9 boys.  There will also be training for U8, U10 & U12 girls and a group text will be sent out to confirm time and pitch.

LOTTO – Results of draw held on wed 13th June were as follows:

CÚL CAMP 2018 – With only one week to go before this year’s Cúl Camp commences in Páirc Naomh Mhuire please ensure to book your place at www.kellogsculcamps.gaa.ie  The camp takes place from Monday 02nd to Friday 06th July and is open to girls and boys age 6-13 years.

LEITRIM – Congratulations and well done to the Leitrim Senior team and management on a great win over Louth on Saturday.  Best wishes to all the lads who now play Monaghan in Round 3 of the Qualifiers on Saturday next at 2.30pm in Páirc Seán Mac Diarmada.  Unfortunately, things didn’t go Leitrim’s way in the Minor championship as they got beaten by Roscommon, they now go on to play Sligo on Friday next at 7.30pm in Markievicz Park, Sligo.  Best wishes to the team and management.

COMMUNITY GAMES – Best wishes to Carrick Area U10 boys team and Management who play Ballinamore in the County Final on Sunday next July 1st at 7pm in Páirc Naomh Mhuire.  There are lots of St. Mary’s boys on this team so please come out and show your support for them and their teammates.
