Aughawillan GAA Club Notes 04/09/2018

Flanagan Cup – Well done to all who participated in this year’s Flanagan Cup! The blue team, captained by Rory McTague, emerged victorious on the day with Conor McGovern winning Young Player of the Game & Shane Flanagan winning Senior Player of the Game. An enjoyable evening was had by all and a big thank you to all those who helped out on the day.

Senior Championship –  Best of luck to the Senior team in their final group game of the Championship against Dromahair at 5pm in Drumshanbo. Having beaten Ballinamore SOH two weeks ago, they are already through the quarterfinals.

Junior Championship – Best of luck to the Junior team who are in a playoff for a spot in the semi-final against Glencar/Manorhamilton after last week’s game was conceded by Ballinamore SOH. Fixture: Aughawillan v Glencar/Manorhamilton Sunday 9th Sept. at 12pm in Drumshanbo.

Underage – Best of luck to St Brigid’s u15 team who begin their Championship campaign this week after winning the League in May. The first game takes place Tues 4th Sept versus Mohill at, venue TBC.

Club Lotto – Next draw will take place on Wednesday 5th September in the Viking. Next Jackpot: €3,300.
