Mohill GAA Club Notes 10/10/2018

Senior Final – On Sunday afternoon Mohill will meet Aughawillan in the Senior Championship Final. Both Teams have been consistent over the last four years with both clubs winning twice. The papers have named Mohill as favourites but never underestimate the spirit and undoubted talent of the Aughawillan side so our players will not be complacent. The lads have prepared well for this big day with Sean Kennedy and his backroom team. The supporters have also prepared, decorating the town from top to bottom. Hopefully, they will bring that colour to Pairc Seán on Sunday evening and help the team retain the Fenagh Cup. We wish both our neighbouring clubs Ananduff and Fenagh a good game in the Intermediate Final.

Monster Draw – The club are at present holding a monster draw with tickets selling at €20, First Prize is €3000, Second Prize €1000 plus numerous other prizes.  Be generous when we call to your door, the club is doing a great job for your children and the whole community.

Oct 13 the new Walking track around the pitch will be officially opened by ‘Ireland’s Fittest Family’- The Beirnes, Dearbhaile, Michael and Keith, Jonathan is in Oman at present so we wish him well there.
