Leitrim Gaels GAA Club Notes 21/01/2019

American Tea Party – The Village Spot Festival are holding an American Tea Party as a fundraiser on Saturday the 26th of January 2019 at 8pm in Leitrim Gaels Community Field Clubhouse. Music on the night will be by the great Mickey Clerkin. There will be great prizes available on the night. This will be one of a few fundraisers for the revival of The Village Spot Festival which is planned for August Bank a Holiday weekend. There are a limited number of tables available. If you want a seat at a table or are interested in taking a table as a host, €100 per table, 10 people per table please contact Colette at 0863823922.

Membership – Membership is now due. Please be advised for Insurance purposes all membership has to be paid prior to commencing training under GAA Insurance rules. All members paid up before 31st March 2019 will have full voting rights. Adult Players €60, Under 13 up to Student Adult Player €40, Under 11 down €20 plus €2 per session. Familly (2 Adults and 2 Kids or more) €100. Non-Playing Adult €25.

Lotto – The Leitrim Gaels Community Development Lotto Draw was held in the Donnellan’s on the 15th January. The numbers drawn were 5,9,15,21. There was no jackpot winner. The €20 winners were Robyn Guckian, Leitrim, Zoe Doran, Andy McDermott, Perth, Gerry McElwain, Fanad.. The next draw will be held in the Leitrim Inn 29th January. The Jackpot is €7,600.

Sympathy – We would like to pass on our deepest sympathy to Brian O’ Connor, Macken on the sad passing of his partner Denise Elliott on Thursday last. Denise was a loyal supporter of the club lotto and was part of the Foxy Four syndicate which frequently won €20. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.
