Leitrim GAA – Well done to Leitrim and our club men Dean McGovern, Shane Moran, Oisin McCaffrey, Darren Maxwell and all of the Leitrim players who were in action at the weekend, a fantastic display by the team and a worthy victory.
Comhghairdeas – Congratulations to Seamus Prior Aughnasheelin on his induction into the Jim Lynch hall of fame, this is excellent recognition for a man that has dedicated his life to the GAA and everyone at the club would like to pass on our heartiest congratulations
Club lotto – Folks our club lotto is the lifeblood of the club and supports the day to day running of all of our teams, grounds and club rooms. Supporting and buying a lotto ticket is not just a fantastic way of supporting the club but also gives you a great opportunity to win money – our Jackpot is now €6050 with a further €200 up for grabs each and every Monday night. Scór – Senior Scor quiz is not now taking place this Saturday Further details on the date and time to follow, if you would like to participate in any Senior Scor events please contact one of our club officers as soon as possible. .
Scor Na nÓg – All Ireland Final is taking place on Saturday 16th February in Castlebar, Co. Mayo. The quiz is taking place in Castlebar De La Salle Sports Hall at 11am sharp where Leitrim will be represented by Ballinamore Sean O’ Heslins. Entry to the quiz will be free of charge. Your support for Our Trath na gCeist team of Eoin Connaughton, Eoin Hamill, Bernard Sweeney and Brian Sweeney would be greatly appreciated
‘Ireland Lights Up – Ballinamore Lights Up – There was a great crowd at the pitch last Thursday evening for operation transformation and we hope everyone can brave the cold and make it again this Thursday ! Everyone is welcome, no matter what your fitness level or wether you want to run, walk or jog or to just meet with your friends for a chat
Comhbhrón – It’s is with deep sadness we hear of the passing of Alice Cullen, mother of Paul and grandmother to our players Jack and Sam. Everyone at the club would like pass on our deepest sympathies to All the Cullen Family and their friends at this difficult time. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam. Condolences are also extended to the family and friends of the late Tom Guckian St. Marys who has sadly passed away.
Clubrooms Historical Display – It is planned to put up a permanent display of photographs and memorabilia relating to the club in the clubrooms. Apart from photos, this could include old jerseys, programmes or any items relating to club players or successes in past years in football, hurling, Scór nó aon rud eile. Cúl Camps Venues 2019 – This year’s camp will be in Ballinamore from July 1st to the 5th , this is a great camp for all the children and further details for registering will follow shortly
