Melvin Gaels GAA Club Notes 29/04/2019

League Division 3 – No joy for the Junior Lads on Saturday evening last when they travelled to Ballinamore and were defeated on a scoreline of 1-13 to 0-6. Next Saturday they have a home game against St Mary’s at 7pm on Saturday. This game is at St Osnat’s.

Under 15 League – The Under 15 team have a home game against Mohill in Bundoran at 7pm on Friday. Good luck to all in both games.

Development Draw – Congratulations to the following five lucky people who won €1,000 each in the Big Development Draw held last week. Fr Thos Woods, Kinlough, Pat Clancy, Gurteendarragh, Kinlough, Padraic McGloin, Millbrook, Kinlough, Sean McNulty, Glenade, Colm Harley, London. Thanks to all who have supported to date and a special mention and thank you to our ticket sellers who have put in a Trojan effort week in week out for the past year. Melvin Park is looking good.  If you would still like to Make your Mark on the Park we would be delighted. Anyone can still place a name to be dedicated at any stage. We are also looking for further business sponsors to take out sponsorship of a pitch-side sign. We still have ambitious plans and work continues apace.

Gaelic4Mothers+Others – Melvin Gaels Gaelic4Mothers + Others is a recreational programme for women who have not played football before or who haven’t played in a long time to hone their football skills in a non – competitive, fun environment. Training takes place on Wednesday evenings at 8pm in Melvin Park, Kinlough. New members always welcome. Contact Anne for more information 087 1337968.
