CLUB & EXECUTIVE MEETING:

 Aughavas Club & Executive meeting will take place in the Clubrooms on Monday 25th @ 9pm.

 

ST JOSEPH’S LADIES:

Congratulations to St Joseph’s Ladies and their Management on a brilliant win last Saturday evening in Dromod against Dromahair on a score line of 11 points to 9 points. St Josephs are now Leitrim Senior County Champions 2017.

 

ST JOSEPH’S BOYS

 Good luck to our U15’s St Joseph’s boys who are through to the Final and play St Marys, venue and date to be confirmed later in the week.  Hard luck to our U13’s on Friday evening last who were defeated by Fenagh in the Final.

 

 

JUNIOR CERT RESULTS:

 Congratulations to all our Junior Cert Students who got their results on Wednesday last.  We wish them continued success in their education.

Aughavas GAA Notes 11/09/17

INTERMEDIATE TEAM:

Congratulations and well done to our Intermediate team and management who secured a great win over Glenfarne/Kilty on Sunday last. This win means that we will play Intermediate Football again in 2018.

U15s

 Congratulations to our St Joseph’s boys who had a great victory over Fenagh on Monday evening last.  They will now play St Mary’s in the final.

U13s

 We also wish congratulations to St Joseph’s U13’s who also won their semi-final on Sunday last against Dromahair and they will play Fenagh in their final.

 ST JOSEPH’S LADIES:

After a nail-biting finish in the Ladies Senior County Final last Sunday in Pairc Sean MacDiarmada the game ended in a draw.  The replay will take place next Saturday evening at 5pm venue to be confirmed later in the week.  Good luck to the team and management.

 

LOTTO: 

The next Lotto draw is on Saturday 16th September in The Dugout coordinated by Ray & Ciaran’s Team.  Jackpot €9,100. Lotto envelopes €2 each or three envelopes for €5 – if you’re not in you can’t win.

INTERMEDIATE TEAM:

Congratulations to our Intermediate team who secured a great win over Eslin last Saturday evening in Cloone on a score line of 1-21 to 0-7.  We now play Glenfarne/Kilty on Sunday 10th September at 12 noon – venue to be confirmed later in the week.  Training for all players tonight in the Park at 9pm.

 

LOTTO:

There was no winner of the Lotto Draw on Saturday night last.  The numbers drawn were 1-7-6-2-5-4-3-0.  €30 winners on the night Mark Shortt, Eoin Hand, Bridie Mollohan, Lila McCabe and Noel Shortt.  The House Prize sponsored by The Dugout was won by Oliver Masterson. The next Lotto draw is on Saturday 16thSeptember in The Dugout coordinated by Ray & Ciaran’s Team.  Jackpot €9,100. Cairde Liatroma is a new Development Draw being organised to support Leitrim GAA. Supporters of Cairde Liatroma are asked to make a monthly contribution of €10 by way of bank standing order, or a yearly contribution of €100. There are monthly draws for individuals and club prizes also. There will also be yearly draws with 5 club prizes of €1,000 and two individual prizes of €1,100. Support is encouraged from those both at home and abroad. Anyone interested in supporting Cairde Nua is asked to contact Ray McBrien @ 0876699752 or any Aughavas Club Officer. The first draw will take place approximately mid-September.

INTERMEDIATE TEAM:

We were defeated by Aughnasheelin on Saturday last on a score line of 1-9 to 14 points.  Our next game is in Cloone on Saturday 2nd September at 6:45pm against Eslin.  Please come out and support the team.

Aughavas GAA Notes – 14/08/17

INTERMEDIATE TEAM:

We suffered a disappointing 1-10 to 0-9 defeat at the hands of Drumkeerin on Sunday last in Pairc Sean. We have no game this coming weekend.

LOTTO:

Mark wedded Sinead McLoughlin on Friday last 11th August.  Whereas Adrian Tiernan and his bride Aishling Gilroy got married on Saturday 12th August.
