Dates for your diary – The Annual Ballinaglera GAA festival takes place this year from Fri 3rd – 12th August. Our committee is working hard putting events in place for another exciting festival.

Ladies – Hard luck to St. Francis ladies who lost out to Oughteragh Gaels by 3.9 to 1.9 in the div 2 league final last Saturday evening. The ladies put in a hard-working performance and led by one point at the break. Unfortunately, they were unable to get the scores they needed in the second half to claw back the concession of two second-half goals. They left everything on the pitch and tried their best till the very end. We wish them the best of luck as they dust themselves down and prepare for the championship. Well done to Oughteragh Gaels on their victory. A big thank you to everyone who came and supported the girls. Thanks also to Scollans Gala for the lovely meal after the game.

Wedding Bells – Congratulations to club player Hugh Gilmartin who married Amanda Dunnion last Saturday in Donegal. The club would like to wish Hugh and Amanda a long and happy life together.
