Sympathy – Our sympathies are extended to the family and friends of the late Gus Guckian, a member of the Fenagh St Caillins club and formerly of Liscloonadea. Gus played for Bornacoola in the 80’s and is fondly remembered by his former teammates and those involved with the club at the time. We also extend our sympathies to the Phelan family, Carrick on Shannon, on the passing of Paddy, a great Gael and hurling disciple; a number of Bornacoola players over the years benefitted from Paddy’s coaching and managerial skills as he oversaw the campaigns of many Leitrim senior hurling and underage teams.
