Junior A Final – We play Glencar/Manorhamilton on Saturday at 4:30pm in Ballinamore in the Junior A Championship County Final. We hope to see the area decked out in black and white over the coming days to show the support to our players and management. We wish them the best of luck on Saturday.

White Collar Boxing – We are holding a White Collar Boxing Event on Saturday 27th October. Tickets for this event go on sale next week priced at €10. Any business willing to come on board with sponsorship please contact Éilis McGourty or Assumpta Clancy.

Junior A Championship – A huge well done to the team and management of Joe Keaney, Michael McGuire & Dermot O’Rourke on reaching the Junior A Championship final. We bet St. Mary’s on Saturday evening in the semi final on a score line of 1-13 to 1-8. Club Merchandise – There are hats, flags, bunting and streamers for sale in the club colours in Clancy’s of Glenfarne. 

 

Leitrim Team – We wish Padraig McGourty the best of luck as a selector with the new Leitrim management team. Padraig started his playing career with the club as a goalkeeper and played up until 2016 with the club. He managed teams at all levels with the club and has served on the club committee until 2016 also. He currently is the manager of Coolaney/Mullinabreena and we wish him and the team the very best of luck this weekend as they play Tubbercurry in the Sligo Senior Championship semi final.

White Collar Boxing – We are holding a white collar boxing event on Saturday 27th October. Our boxers have started training and we thank all those for taking part. Further information will be released in the coming weeks about this event.

Junior A Championship – Well done to the lads on a great win over Annaduff in the Junior A Quarter Finals. Final Score was 3-12 to 3-8. We play the semi-final weekend of 22/23rd September. The draw for the semi-final will be made next weekend.

Wedding bells – We wish Donnacha Keaney, Kiltyclogher and Leanne Connolly, Manorhamilton a huge congratulations on their marriage on Saturday. We wish you both many happy and healthy years together.

All Ireland Tickets – The club received two tickets for the All Ireland Football and Hurling Finals. Assumpta Clancy and Joe Keaney got the hurling final tickets and Joe Keaney and Éilis McGourty were the lucky recipients of the football tickets. We hope ye enjoyed the game.

Sympathy – The club expresses its deepest sympathy with our club chairman Anthony Clancy and his family on the death of his sister Margaret in Newry. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Junior A Quarter Final – We play Annaduff on Saturday at 5pm in Pairc Sean in the Junior A Quarter Final. We wish the team and management the best of luck.

Race Night – We are holding our annual race night in Ketty’s on Sunday at 10pm. Can all those selling horses please have the cards back to Éilis McGourty by lunchtime on Wednesday.

Division 3 League – We played St. Mary’s on Sunday in Pairc Naomh Mhuire. We suffered a loss on the day when a clear goal was denied by the man in the middle and suffered the loss of Cian Rock with a broken arm. We learn from the mistakes and move on to the next game. Final Score was 1-18 to 3-5. Greenway Walk – A huge thank you to all those who supported our walk on May Bank Holiday weekend. We raised €645 and £5sterling. This money raised goes towards the running of the club.

Underage Academy – A huge well done to our U11s and U9s who played against Drumkeerin on Monday evening in Drumkeerin. There was some great football played by both teams and the future looks bright for these footballers. Training continues on Friday evening in the park at 6:30pm for U7s, U9s and U11s.
