Dunnes Bar Division 1 League – The division 1 team play Melvin Gaels in the final league game before the championship on Saturday evening at 7pm in Leitrim.

Barna Recycling Under 13 Championship – The Under 13 team got their 15 aside championships off to a start when they drew with Mohill on Thursday last 1-12 apiece. Their next game is Thursday next week against St Josephs.

Newtowngore Engineering Under 17 Championship – The under 17 team play Allen Gaels at home in the Championship on Monday at 7:30pm.

Longford/Leitrim Cross Border Under 12 League – The under 12 contested the under 12 Longford Leitrim League final against St Francis Drumard on Sunday evening. After a very well contested first half, they led 2-03 to 1-01. The Drumard side started the 2nd half the better with more fire in their belly and turn the result around scoring 3-04 without reply. The Gaels did mount a come back with some wonderful points and hitting the crossbar on a number of occasions. In the end, they came up short losing 2-08 to 4-05. This is a very talented group of players and they will taste success in the not to a decent future. Their coach Aidan Flynn deserves a lot of praise for the skill they displayed and the respect they show towards their opponents and the referee. Dunnes Bar Division 1 League – The division 1 team won their second game of the league by seeing off Drumkerran who were unbeaten this year at home on Saturday. It what was a very competitive game, down to 14 men and trailing at halftime, our lads found their shooting boots to win 2-09 t0 1-10. We wish Michael McManus a speedy recovery after he suffered a knock in the game. It is a busy week ahead for the senior team in the league. They have a busy week ahead. They host Aughnashelin in Leitrim this evening Wednesday at 8pm. On Saturday they travel to table toppers Glencar Manorhamilton in their new pitch at 7pm. Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camp Registration – Registration for Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps 2018 is currently underway online via the website, https://www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie/booking/ Please note: The online booking facility will close at noon on the Wednesday preceding the week of the camps. This year and going forward, Registrations will NOT be accepted on the first morning of camp. Registration can be completed using the online facility above, or through your local GAA club, at the club registration evening, which will be held in all clubs on Tuesday 30/5/17 at 7pm. The club registration evening will be co-ordinated by the club-coaching officer. COST: €60 for 1st child. €50 for 2nd child. €40 for 3rd and subsequent children. The camp will take place in Leitrim Gaels Community field from 23rd – 27th July.

Leitrim Minors – Best of luck to Donal Casey, Jack Flynn and Matthew Earley and the Leitrim minor team playing Galay in Pairc Sean on Friday Evening at 7:30pm. They beat Sligo last Friday 2-14 to 0-13.

Under 12 League – The under 12 team played their final Longford Leitrim League game on Thursday last beating St Francis 7-14 to 4-12. They play Grattan Gaels in the semi-final at home in Leitrim tomorrow Thursday at 6:30pm. We urge as many supporters as possible to come out and support this talent group of players.

Division 4 – The Division 4 team played Bornacoola on Saturday last and finished the league on a high winning 2-11 to 3-05. Great to see club stalwart Ciaran Corcoran come on and get on the scoresheet. Under 20’s – the county under 20’s were knocked out of the Connaught championship on Saturday. The club was well represented on the team with Narada Protrasco, Stephen Mc Dermott, Donal Moreton, Patrick Flynn and Shaun Chandler.

Cumann na mBunscol – Well done to both the Boys and Girls teams of St Joseph’s Ns Leitrim Village who won the Cumann na mBunscol Division 1 title. On Monday of last week the girls team seen off a very good team from Ballinamore to win. Then on Wednesday evening the boys team were victorious in the Shield final beating St Manchans NS Mohill.

Under 15 League – The under 15 team played their Ballinamore in the shield final on Friday and were deserved winners on a score line of 3-16 to 1-05. Well done to all.

Under 12 League – The under 12 team started their Longford Leitrim league on Thursday evening when they hosted Wolfe tones from Longford. Westlink Coaches Under 15 League – The under 15 team played their final league game on Monday evening showing true spirit they saw off a strong Sean O Heslin side by 1 point 4-14 to 3-16. The result sees them qualify for the shield.

Leitrim v Roscommon – Good luck to Aidan Flynn, Colm Moreton and the Leitrim Senior team and management as they take on Roscommon in the Connacht Championship semi-final this Saturday evening at 5.30 in Páirc Seán.

Leitrim v New York – Best of Luck to Aidan Flynn, Colm Moreton and the Leitrim Team playing New York in Gaelic Park on Sunday. Safe travels to all the supporters travelling from the village.

Swan Bar Division 4 – The division 4 team played Cloone on Saturday last, but were beaten by a better team. They play Kiltubrid on Saturday next in Leitrim at 7pm.

5km Run – Leitrim Village 5km Canal run and walk Sunday 29th April at 12 noon from Leitrim Gaels Community Field. All funds go towards Community Cardiac Rehab Programme Leitrim/Roscommon and St Joseph’s Centre Leitrim village. Entry fee €10/ €20 per Family.

Big Night Out – Leitrim Gaels will be holding a fundraiser in Rory Dolan’s, McLean Ave, Yonkers, NY on Friday the 4th of May 2018 at 9pm. Presentations on the night from the club will be made to Willie Reynolds and Mary O Keefe in recognition of the work they did in NY 20 years ago fundraising for the club. There will be door prizes, raffle prizes, 50/50 draw and music on the night. All Gaels home and abroad are welcome on the night for what promises to be a great night.

Division 1 – The first team played Mohill on Saturday evening last in Leitrim and put in great performance to earn a draw 2-10 to 1-13. Goals from Enda Moreton and Aiden Flynn had the Gaels leading by a point going into injury time. This was a heart-warming team effort from the goalie to the subs. Thanks to all the supporters who came on and cheered on the team. Next game is not until May 12th.

Division 4 – The division 4 team played St Mary’s on Sunday afternoon and put on a superb display to win 4-14 to 0-05. They play clone away on Saturday evening at 7pm.

Intermediate Championship – The draw for the Intermediate Championship took place on Monday evening. We are drawn in a group with Drumkerrin, Ballinaglera, Fenagh, Aughavas and Cloone. All of these teams are excellent outfits, so it should make for a competitive group stage.
