Important Info. Players Insurance Updated - January 2009
GAA Player Injury Insurance Claim Procedures
All clubs please ensure that the new updated 2009 insurance claim form is used for player injury claims.
The sixty ( 60 ) day rule for submissions is now being implemented. To ensure your claim is submitted in time, complete the first two pages and forward them in time to county insurance officer to ensure they arrive at Coyle Hamiltom Willis before sixty days after injury date.
The remaining pages 3, 4 & 5 can follow when all attaching receipts etc are to hand. Coyle Hamilton Willis have flagged this deadline back in early 2008 with a July 1st '08 implementation deadline.
The six months grace has dried up, so make sure all players and those who deal with insurance at your club are aware of claim deadlines and procedures etc.. All enquiries to 086 8505391

Important Info. regarding mobile shop units:
Following a meeting of Central Council on the 17th March 2008 it was agreed that mobile shop units be allowed on GAA Grounds subject to the following been in place:-
- Employers Liability with an Indemnity Limit of €13,000,000 any one accident
- Public Liability with an Indemnity Limit of €6,500,000 any one event.
- Products Liability with an Indemnity Limit of €6,500,000 any one event/aggregate
- Certificate confirming that the unit(s) has passed the health and safety standards.
- Endorsement noting that Cumann Lúthchleas Gael are indemnified under the various insurance policies.
Please note that the above information needs to be submitted to the Insurance Office in Páirc an Chrócaigh for approval before entry to the ground is granted.

All injured players requiring an MRI Scan or X-Ray as part of their investigative treatment can avail of special GAA negotiated rates with Northwood Imaging, Santry, Dublin
