Leitrim ended their Allianz National Football League Division 2A campaign with a poor performance against neighbours Roscommon.

Roscommon needed to win by a landslide to have any chance of qualifying for the semi-finals, but found to find themselves trailing 0-02 to 0-04 at half-time to a Leitrim side helped by two excellent Declan Maxwell side. With a strong wind behind ithem after the break, Roscommon were the better team and pushed forward to outscore Leitrim by 0-09 to 0-01, with Leitrim’s only point in the second period coming from a Michael Foley free fifteen minutes after the break.
