3 Champions

3 Clubs are now celebrating as the Junior A, Intermediate and Senior Championship titles went to new homes for 2007. In the Junior A game Annaduff overcame a strong Carrigallen challenge to win by a goal that was scored in injury time. This was an enthralling high Scóring game that ended Annaduff 2-11 Carrigallen 1-11.

On Sunday in Paric Sean with the stand full to capacity and many supporters around the ground it was the turn of the Intermediate and Senior Finalists.

The Intermediate encounter between Drumreilly and Aughavas failed to live to expectations and Drumreilly wont mind as they maintianed the lead throughout most of the game and will now play in the Senior grade for 2008. See Full Match report by PJ Leddy.

The Senior game was a better affair with St. Marys determined to make amends for last years loss and that they did. Like Drumreilly they also commanded the game once they got in front and always managed to get the points at vital times. Although a few defensive errors almost let Kiltubrid back in contention as a the last few minutes brought back some memories/nightmares for a few on and off the field. Congratulations to the 3 Champions and commiserations to the losing parties.
