Kiltubrid Club Notes – 21/8/17

All Ireland Success

Congratulations to our talented club footballer, Nathan Mahon, who had his other shoes on last weekend and was dancing in the Aldi Community games National finals in Dublin. He was accompanied by his sister Niamh and  Katie Scollan, and Brianna O Donnell and Ella Casey from Drumshanbo. They danced a superb set under the guidance of Edwina Guckian and brought the National title and gold medals back to Kiltubrid. What a great achievement. Other club footballers were also competing last weekend, Cian Mc Cormack in the U12 ball throw, Darragh Lee in the U12 600m, Fionn O Brien U16 1500m and Iarlaith O Brien in the duathlon. Whilst not among the medals, they put in fine individual performances and did themselves proud while competing at the highest level. Well done to all.
