SYMPATHY –  Cloone GAA would like to express its sincere sympathy to John Moran and family, and the Leogue family, formerly Mohill, on the death of Teresa Moran whose funeral took place on Monday last. Teresa taught in Fatima School, Cloone, since the mid to late nineteen eighties and has been principal for the last number of years. Teresa has been responsible for everything that has been good about Fatima school during her years teaching there, and on many occasions when her pupils were representing the School in GAA competitions Teresa was their motivator and cheerleader. We extend our sincere sympathy to her family and friends.

SYMPATHY –  The club would like to extend its sympathy to James Shanley Ballykiltyfea, Cloone on the death of his Mother, whose death took place recently. James ‘s son Ryan is one of our most Promising players who has had great success with various underage teams of late,

ALLIANZ FOOTBALL LEAGUE – On Sunday last Leitrim put a creditable performance against a fancied Laois Side, and with a scoreline of 3 10, you would expect to win most games. Next up in the Allianz National is Carlow in Netwatch Cullen Park. Not an easy assignment but if we could extend our 7-minute scoring spree from last Sunday and entice the Carlow goalkeeper to follow the antics of the Laois goalkeeper,  with his forays upfield, you just never know. Best of luck to team and management.
