Under 15 Final – A great performance from the Melvin Gaels Under 15s in the Championship Final in Carrick on Shannon was not enough to get the better of Gortletterragh on Sunday last. The Club can be very proud of this group of young lads who played so well all through this championship and performed so well in the final up until the last few minutes. Well done to all the players and mentors. No doubt this group of players will learn a lot from the experience of their achievements this year.

Under 20 Quarter Final – The Under 20 team will start the Championship next Sunday morning at the Quarter Final stage with a home game against neighbours Glencar/Manorhamilton on Sunday at 11am and will be played on Bundoran pitch. Good luck to all involved.

Underage Presentation – There was a fantastic crowd at the underage presentation in the Community Centre on Sunday evening. All players and coaches, at all ages, were acknowledged for their achievements during the year. The Under 17s were presented with their Championship medals.  Congratulations to all.  Thanks to the Special Guests, Terry Hyland, Leitrim Manager, Shauna Hamilton, Fermanagh Star and our own Leitrim County players, Emlyn and Killian. They all contributed so much to the evening. Thanks to all who helped in any way to organise the event and all who came along to enjoy the presentation.

Club AGM – The Club AGM will take place on Sunday November 25th at 7pm. All members are asked to attend.

Get Your Mark on Melvin Park – It is very important that all Club Members help with the fundraising needed to complete the work on Melvin Park. Anyone who has not yet contributed is asked to do so as soon as possible. Contact any member of the Development Committee to purchase your ”Mark” and ensure that the Club will have the facilities everyone can be proud of. The support has been very good so far. The fundraising will involve “Make Your Mark on Melvin Park” for €100 which will represent a square of Melvin Park, entry into a draw, prizes 5x €1000, and your name on a commemorative plaque. To get your “Mark on Melvin Park” contact Spar, Kinlough or Pat at 0871787194 or Katherine at 087 287 0086 or go to www.kinloughcommunitycentre.wordpress.com.
