Annaduff GAA Club Notes 14/05/2019

Club Annaduff – Firstly on behalf of Annaduff GAA thank you for loyal support and membership of Club Annaduff in 2018, all funds raised by Club Annaduff GAA helping our club to continue the great coaching and development activities in our juvenile girls and boys and our adult teams. Club Annaduff 2019 is ready for the throw in and we have decided to alter our format slightly, in 2019 we will have 2 levels of membership our standard €70 Silver membership and our new €120 Gold membership. Silver membership offers you entry into 4 draws with the 1st prize of €200, 2nd prize of €100 plus 3rd and 4th prizes are €50 each.
Membership card which allows you into all Annaduff 2019 home D1 and D3 league games for free and your 2019 Members Car Sticker. If you opt for the €120 Gold Membership you”ll also receive our custom Club Annaduff 2019 polo shirt, please see annaduffgaa.com for details.  Your usual Club Annaduff contact will soon be in touch and we look forward to welcoming you back into Club Annaduff 2019. Kelloggs Cúl Camp in Annaduff – This year’s Kelloggs summer camp will take place from the 8th to the 12th of July. Open to boys and girls aged between six and thirteen. At a cost of €60 for first child and €55 for a second.  A great week of entertainment is assured so go onto  www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie and book your place.

First Holy Communion – Congratulations to the 31 boys & girls from 2nd class who made their First Holy Communion in a packed out St Marys Church, Annaduff on Saturday last the 11th of May. Thanks to Fr. John Wall PP, the students and their teacher Miss McCartin who prepared them for their First Holy Communion.  The choir sang beautifully and they were directed by Mrs. Deirde McKeon and Ms. Edel Brogan. Thanks to parents etc who helped the children prepare for their big day.

The Defibrillator Group – The Annaduff-Drumsna-Jamestown defibrillator group are hosting a Cyclethon in Tesco, Carrick on Shannon on Saturday next the 18th of May from 10am to 4pm. Please come along and support. If you can spare some time they are looking for people to cycle. And as previous stated part of this years fundraising is hopefully going to see a Defibraltor in Dromod Village.
Connacht Championship – Although results didn’t go Leitrims way, on both the Ladies V Sligo or the Seniors Leitrim V Roscommon. Well done to our three Club representatives Viv Egan, Conor Reynolds and Senan Mooney who played for Leitrim in the exhibition game before the senior game started. I’m sure that all three will have a great future both in Club and County football.

Bord na nÓg – Annaduff will be a host club for Féile this year. This year Féile kicks off on Friday the 28th of June  Annaduff V Gortletteragh at 4:45pm.  Cork team V  Louth team at 5:30pm, Gortletteragh V Louth at 6:15pm then Annaduff V Cork team at 7pm all Friday games will be in Annaduff. Saturday the 28th Annaduff V Louth team at 10:45am. Quarterfinals will take place in the Sligo Centre of Excellence, Cup at 2:15 and Shield at 3:30. Both finals will be played in Pairc Sean Carrick on Shannon at 1:30 on Sunday the 30th. The very best of luck to the management and players this will be an exciting and busy weekend for all.

The Westlink Coaches U15 – The U15s were away to Allen Gaels on Thursday last. Unfortunately, our lads lost out to a very strong Drumshambo side.  Full-time score: Annaduff 0-11 to Allen Gaels 2-18.

Lotto – The Annaduff Parish & GAA lotto next draw will take place in the Brandywell, Dromod on the 19th of May where the Jackpot now stands at €2800. So as always please get your tickets in and Thank you for your continued support !!!

Fixtures – The Westlink Coaches U15s League home to Leitrim Gaels on Thursday the 16th of May at 7pm.
The Annaduff Ladies home to Aughawillan on Sunday the 19th of May at 11am.
