Bímid ag céiliúradh Naomh Pádraig a thug an Chríostaíocht dúinn sa 5ú haois. D’úsáid sé an tseamróg chun an Trionóid a mhíniú d’ár sinsear agus ó shin i leith aithnítear é mar shiombal Éireannach.

Culture – Tá an-áthas ar chlub Naomh Pádraig, C.L.G. Droim Dhá Thiar bheith mar an gcéad chlub i gCo. Liatroma cláraithe i scéim nua chun an Ghaeilge a chur ar aghaidh. Fondúireacht Sheosaimh Mhic Dhonncha atá i gceist.  As the old Irish proverb goes: Diaidh ar ndiaidh a thógtar na caisleáin (which roughly translates as ‘Rome wasn’t built in a day’), táimid ag iarraidh teanga na nGael a thógaint ar ais agus í a úsáid, nó beidh sí marbh! Watch out for a series of interesting events related to our culture agus an Ghaeilge i nDroim Dhá Thiar go luath.
