League structure 2006

With all games completed in the 2005 Masonite League, the make-up of next years league has been finalised. A slight re-structuring means that there will be a reduction from six to five divisions in 2006, with two-up-two-down relegation in place across all divisions.

As explained elsewhere on this site, the league and championship structures will operate exclusively of each other from next year, meaning there ll be two Division 1 teams competing in the Intermediate Championship (Aughavas, Drumreilly) and two Division 2 teams competing in the Senior Championship (Glencar/Manorhamilton, Sean O Heslins).

Division 1 (12 teams): Allen Gaels, Annaduff, Aughavas, Aughawillan, Bornacoola, Drumreilly, Gortletteragh, Kiltubrid, Melvin Gaels, Mohill, St. Caillins, St. Marys.

Division 2 (10 teams): Aughnasheelin, Ballinaglera, Carrigallen, Cloone, Dromahaire, Drumkeerin, Glencar/Manorhamilton, Glenfarne/Kiltyclogher, Sean O Heslins, St. Marys.

Division 3 (10 teams): Allen Gaels, Annaduff, Aughavas, Aughawillan, Bornacoola, Drumkeerin, Glencar/Manorhamilton, Gortletteragh, Mohill, Sean O Heslins.

Division 4 (12 teams): Allen Gaels, Annaduff, Ballinaglera, Carrigallen, Cloone, Dromahaire, Eslin, Kiltubrid, Leitrim Gaels, Melvin Gaels, St. Caillins, St. Marys.

Division 5 (12 teams): Aughavas, Aughnasheelin, Bornacoola, Drumreilly, Eslin, Glencar/Manorhamilton, Glenfarne/Kiltyclogher, Gortletteragh, Leitrim Gaels, Mohill, Sean O Heslins, St. Osnatts.
