Junior Football League

As with the Senior League there are some historical quirks. What was referred to as the Junior Cup began in 1943 and was also called the Junior League Cup. Winners of this Cup were: Drumshanbo (1943), Carrick-on-Shannon (1944), and Bornacoola (1945). The competition continued on a full league basis from 1946.
