Cloone Club Notes – 4/9/17

On Saturday last we drew with Mohill’s second team in the FOX Memorials Leitrim Intermediate
football Championship played in Carrigallen, on a score line of Mohill 1 11 Cloone 0 14. We are now
through to the quarter final against Drumkeerin. This game will be played in the excellent grounds of
Leitrim Gaels Gaa at 5 P.M. on this Saturday evening. We urge all supporters to rally behind the team
and hopefully we can get a result on Saturday evening. Best of luck to the team and management.
This is another phase in a championship system in Leitrim Gaa that personally I’m not a fan of.

Compliments to Carrigallen GAA club on having their excellent facilities in top class shape for the
matches on Saturday evening. The stand proved a treat to shelter us all from the rain. Well done to
Carrigallen GAA.

There was no winner of the club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night last. The numbers drawn were 3, 4,
16, and 26 and the following were winners in the draw,€ 50 Caoimh Lohan Longford € 30 Teresa
Slevin Drumdarkin Cloone, € 30 Kevin Keilty Ballinaglera Leitrim. Thanks to all who supported and
the club is most appreciative to all who, support the lotto draw.

On Saturday evening we have two games in the park, with Ballinaglera taking Carrigallen at 5 00 pm
and Mohill taking on Drumreilly at 6 30mP.M. The usual stewards are asked to be available.

Congratulations to Caroline and David McKeon on the birth of their baby girl last week. A girl
footballer for Cloone Gaa, and no doubt will follow in the footsteps of her aunt, noted Letrim star
County footballer Dee Ward.
