Aughavas GAA Club Notes 08/12/2017

LOTTO – Our next lotto draw will take place in Terry Shortt’s Heritage Bar on Saturday 9^th December with Noel and Dan’s Team.  Lotto jackpot is €9,700 – wouldn’t it be a nice win before the Christmas? Envelopes are €2 each or Three for a €5.

FUNDRAISING DRAW – Aughavas GAA Fundraising Draw tickets are now for sale. €20 each or a book of three tickets for €50.  1^st Prize is €3,000, 2^nd Prize €1,000 and 5 Prizes of €100.

AGM – The Club held its AGM on Friday night last with a large attendance.  Chairman Colm Moran thanked all the committee members for their work during the year.   The following are the Officers for 2018 – Chairman:  Colm Moran, Vice Chairman: Noel Shortt, Secretary:  Anna McKiernan, Assistant Secretary:  Marion McCabe, Treasurer: Diane Charles, Assistant Treasure: Martin Bohan, Registrar: Fintan McBrien & Niall Maguire, Development & IT Officer: Terry Williams, Insurance Officer:  Dan O’Brien, Coaching Officer: Ray McBrien, Healthy Club Officer: Pauline McKiernan, Children’s Officers: Noel Shortt & Mary Mitchell.

PLAYERS MEETING – A players meeting will take place in the Clubrooms on Friday 8^th December.

CONGRATULATIONS – Congratulations to Michael, Gabriel & Vincent McCabe, Rossan who are the Guests of Honor at the Leitrim NY GFC Dinner Dance in Gaelic Park, New York USA on Saturday night 9^th December. The lads are great supporters of Aughavas GAA and we wish them all the best on the night as this is a great honour and achievement.
