Mohill GAA Club Notes 22/01/2018

Presentation Night – Our awards and Dinner Dance was a great success on Saturday last. It was fitting that the players were presented with their medals by ex-Manager Padraic Davis. Padraic was emotional in his farewell speech but he assured everyone he was only a phone call away. We wish him well in his future endeavours. We thank everyone who helped organise the event and all the businesses of the town who gave spot prizes.

New Manager – Also present on Saturday night was our new football Manager Frank Browne and his wife Deirdre. He delivered a nice introductory speech to everyone present and we welcome and wish him success in 2019

National GAA Draw – This week Club members will be out selling the National Draw tickets for €10 in the Mohill area. There are some great prizes all donated by GAA Headquarters which include a car, All Ireland Hurling and football packages, Great shopping vouchers. The Club is hoping to make big improvements in the Park this year which will be to the benefit to all the community, so be generous and buy a ticket or maybe two
