Mohill GAA Club Notes 20/02/2018

Amelia Pajek – Amelia gave the performance of her young life at the Scór na Óg All Ireland Finals in Sligo on Saturday last. Amelia sang her song beautifully and was unlucky not to get the judges nod. The Club thanks Amelia, her co-ordinator Róisín Kennedy and her parents for representing Mohill on stage

Under 13 – These young men played the first game of the year in Carrigallen on Sunday morning in rough conditions last and collected full points off a spirited St Joseph’s side. We had a great squad and everyone got some playing time. The panel and scorers were: Luke Bohan, Adam Mc Guinness, Cathal Donohue, Harry Boyle, Michael Tiernan, Liam Flynn, Diarmuid Casey, Jack Rowley 0-1, Eoin Duignan 1-1, Colin McNamara 0-2, Matthew Murphy 1-3, Senan Curran 0-1, Aidan Mulligan 1-1, Aaron McCrann 1-1, Jack McCrann. Subs Ondrej  Coka, Patrik Coka, Daniel Beirne, Cillian Walpole, Blaine McCrann, Evan Kilraine, Adam Kiernan, James Dimmock, Niall Mulligan, Thomas Casey. We look forward to our game against St Mary’s in the park next Sunday

Under 17 – Under17s start their campaign on Saturday next away to St Joseph’s

Underage Academy – The start of the Underage Academy was a great success and will continue every Saturday from 10-11 am at the old Marian college. A big thanks to GDA Enda Lyons for all his help and our band of dedicated coaches who were out bright and early to organize everything. Cash for Clobber – If you wish to get rid of surplus clothes, bed linen, towels, shoes, belts and soft toys and do a spring clean, the Mohill Ladies are collecting every Saturday in the Clubrooms from 10 to 12pm for the month of February as a fundraiser.

County Game – Best of luck to the Leitrim team on Sunday next as they play Limerick in their third League game. Support will be essential.
