Aughavas GAA Club Notes 19/04/2018
LOTTO – There was no winner of our Lotto draw last Saturday 14th. The numbers drawn were 4-7-1-0-6-5-2-3. €30 winners on the night were Anella McGuinness, Michael & Aoife Brennan, Rachel Farrelly, Eileen Charles & Orna Williams. The house prize sponsored by The Dugout was won by Mary O’Brien. The next draw is on Saturday 29th April and will be co-ordinated by St Joseph’s Ladies. The Lotto jackpot is €10, 700. Envelopes €2 or three for €5.
FIXTURES – Hard luck to our Div 3 Team who lost to Eslin on a score line of 3-12 to 2-12 last Saturday evening in Eslin. They play Fenagh-St Caillins on Saturday 21st at 7pm in Aughavas. Our Div 4 team play St Mary’s away on Sunday 22nd at 12 noon.
ST JOSEPH’S BOYS – Well done to our u13’s who had a good win over Melvin Gaels in the Shield semi-final on Thursday evening last, next up is Dromahair in the Shield Final on Friday evening at 7pm in Aughavas. This is a great bunch of young players with loads of potential so come out and support them on Friday evening. Best of luck to all.
U17’s – Our u17’s had a week of mixed fortunes, on Tuesday evening last they had a good victory over Allen Gaels in the last game of the league, and this victory put us in a three way tie for a semi-final place. After an open draw we were to face Allen Gaels again in a play off on Sunday evening last in Carrigallen. However, this time we lost out by two points and are now in a Shield Final v either Mohill or Fenagh at the weekend, good luck to the Team and Management.
U15’s – The u15’s will start their league campaign next week with an away game in Manorhamilton, check fixtures for more details.
