Dublin – Aughawillan Sponsored Cycle – There are just over two weeks to go to May 12th and the 150km cycle from Castleknock to Aughawillan, all our cyclists are putting in the hard yards and with longer evenings and better weather there are no excuses!! A big welcome to Eilis Quinn, Mick Quinn (Sean O’Heslins) and Padraig Holohan (Drumrielly) who are participating in a support role to our cycling team.

There will be a Church gate collection this weekend in Corraleehan on April 28th & in Aughawillan on April 29th. Each cyclist has a sponsorship card also if you wish to donate directly to the cyclist. There are details of online donations on our Facebook page.
Clothes Collection – Pat Joe McNiffe is holding a clothes collection in the weeks leading up to the Dublin-Leitrim cycle. This is a great opportunity to clear out any old clothes, shoes, boots, wellies and curtains. No duvets or pillows can be accepted. Any clothes, shoes, etc can be dropped up to McNiffe’s house at any time with thanks in advance.

A number of our cyclists will be in New York for Leitrim’s opening Championship game and no doubt will be seeking the support of the Aughawillan and Leitrim Diaspora in New York.

We appreciate any and all donations and sponsorship that can be made to the cyclists and we ask that you support and encourage all 20 cyclists in any way possible as they prepare for the event in May.

Corraleehan Parish Walk – Corraleehan Parish Walk continues each Thursday night at 8.30pm from Corraleehan Church. Community spirit, health, fitness, whatever your goals we will be happy to see you, everyone welcome.
