Annaduff GAA Club Notes 03/07/2018

Annaduff Family Fun Day 2018 – The theme for this year is farm safety, There will be talks and demonstrations about farm machinery. We will be doing the shoebox of books sale and or course lots of fun activities for the kids.(more details in the coming weeks). As with other years, Annaduff GAA has always helped out with local Charities.
For the 2018 Family days the Charity is Pieta House who of course do some great work and its great to be part of helping out such a wonderful organisation.

Clothes collection – Thanks again to all who dropped off Clothes bags. We will continue for a couple of weeks All types of clothes, shoes, old bags, belts, curtains, bed linen etc. Cant take duvets or pillows. Drop off to Annaduff GAA on Saturday Morning from 10am to 11am. Anyone that has bags to be collected we would be delighted to collect them for you. Your support is very much appreciated contact Niall Lyons 087 9852113 or Denny Dockery 087 9007217. Monies raised go towards underage training equipment for our younger people in the Parish.

2018 Kelloggs summer camp – Don’t forget with only a week to go until this years Annaduff Kelloggs summer camp which takes place July 9-13th You can register on  https://www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie
This online booking facility will close at noon on Wednesday (4th July). As with last year registrations will NOT be accepted on the first morning of the camp.
You must have your Child registered this week open to boys & girls 6-13 years. Cost €60 for first child €50 for second €40 for third/forth.

Dunnes Bar Division 2 League – Ballinamore (SOH) were the visitors to Annaduff on Wednesday last. The sides were fairly even throughout the first half with score for score. Half time Annaduff 1-05 Ballinamore 1-06. But in the second half the Annaduff lads shook off the holiday cobwebs to go into the lead after 38 min and kept it that way until the final whistle. Full time score Annaduff 1-15. Ballinamore  1-11.The Annaduff lads remain top of D2 where Karl Foleys men continue their un-beaten record for 2018. On Wednesday next (4th) we are home to Carrigallen.

Under 9s – Well done to the U9 boys who represented Annaduff on Saturday in Páirc Seán Mac Diarmada Carrick on Shannon at half time during the Leitrim V Monaghan qualifiers Game.

Newtown Engineering Under 17s Championship – Best wishes to manangers Daniel Duignan and Matthew Reynolds along with their team who begin the Championship on Monday next home to Rinn Gaels at 7pm.

Lotto – The Annaduff Parish & GAA lotto draw took place in Mc Loughins, Drumsna Sunday 1st of July.
Numbers 1,9,16,21. There was no winner.

Please note – There will be a Blood Donation clinic in the Bush Hotel, Carrick on Shannon on Tuesday 17th July and Wednesday 18th from 4.30pm to 8pm. Remember giving blood save lives so if you are in a position to do so, make sure you get along to one of these clinics.
