St Mary’s Kiltoghert GAA Club Notes 25/10/2018

RESULTS – Commiserations to our U15 team and management who were narrowly beaten by Allen Gaels in the semi-final of the 2018 West link Coaches Under 15 (15) Championship on Sunday last.  The final score was 2.11 to 2.09.

FIXTURES

Friday 26th October – Club Minor A Football Quarter Final  St. Mary’s V’s St. Molaise Gaels (Sligo) Centre of Excellence, Ballyhaunis at 8.15pm.

Saturday 27th October – Dunnes Bar ACL Division 1 League (Final Game): Leitrim Gaels V’s St. Mary’s at 4pm in Leitrim Gaels.

U16 LADIES – The U16 girls played Dromahair in their second game of the Championship on Sunday last, unfortunately, Dromahair proved too strong for the girls on the day winning on a scoreline of 2.06 to 1.03.  Hard luck to our girls. Training continues every Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm in Páirc Naomh Mhuire.  Their next match is against Mohill this weekend, time and venue TBC.

UNDERAGE PRESENTATION NIGHT – We will hold our Annual Underage presentation on Saturday 17th November from 4.30pm until 7pm in The Bush Hotel.  We have had a great year at the underage level, so this promises to be a fantastic evening.  Everyone young and old are invited to attend.

CARRICK HURLING – Congratulations to all in Carrick Hurling on their seniors beating Cluainín iomái in the County Final on Saturday on a scoreline of 2.07 to 0.07. Hard luck to the U14 team who were defeated by 1 point by Four Roads in the League Final.

INTERMEDIATE COUNTY FINAL – Well done to Fenagh on winning the Intermediate County Final on Sunday last, commiserations to our neighbours Annaduff.

SCÓR NA NÓG 2018 – Scór na nÓg (Junior Scór) 2018/2019 Leitrim County finals are due to take place in December, date and venue TBC.

Anyone who can play a musical instrument, sing or dance is invited to enter and represent St. Mary’s Kiltoghert GAA at this year’s Scór competition. You may enter individually or as part of a group. As this is the 50th year of Scór, we would love to get as many interested young club members, Boys and Girls to represent the club this year.
