Leitrim Sports Partnership – We congratulate all nominees and award winners whose sporting achievements were celebrated at the Leitrim Sports Partnership Awards Ceremony in the Landmark Hotel on Saturday night.  Well done in particular to St Clare’s Comprehensive School girls football team who were awarded the Juvenile Team of the Year Award and to Dearbhla Rooney who claimed the Sports Individual Junior award and to top off an outstanding year she was also the deserving winner of the overall award on the night.

New Arrival – any congrats to our senior player Thomas Coyle and his girlfriend Máire Kelly on the safe arrival of their baby boy John.

Club Academy/U9s/U11s – Our Club Football Academy, U9 and U11 training will take place this Friday night at St Clare’s Comprehensive School. Times will be notified to parents.

Match for Mark – The annual Match for Mark game between St Mary’s of Sligo and Glencar/Manorhamilton returns again this year on St Stephen’s Day.  Keep the date free, dust down the boots and see you in Kent Park for what has always been a great social occasion and opportunity to support a local charity in memory of St Mary’s and Glencar Manor’s former player Mark Rooney.  Details are being finalised and full fixture details will be issued shortly.

Sympathy – We offer heartfelt sympathy to Annette Johnson (Lurganboy) and Maeve Conlon (Glencar) and their families following the sad passing of their sister in law Patricia Burke, Ballisodare.  May she rest in peace.

Club AGMs – Thank you to everyone who attended our Coiste na nÓg and Senior Board AGM’s on Saturday night last.

Ladies Club History – In preparation for our club’s 50th anniversary in 2019, the ladies club are looking to dig out all old photos, match programmes, newspaper clippings or any other club memorabilia to help prepare a detailed history of the history of the ladies club. We are also trying to compile the names of all club officers/managers/club award winners since the club was formed – so if you were an officer/manager/award winner – please forward any information you can.  Please email any correspondence you have to
