Comhghairdeas – Congratulations to Tom Prior Leitrim Minor Player of the year, Tom received his wonderful accolade at the Leitrim GAA awards night at the weekend in recognition of the wonderful year he has had at both club and county level, this is well-deserved recognition for a very talented young man and no doubt it will not be his last.

Leitrim GAA – Comhghairdeas to club men Dean McGovern, Shane Moran, Oisin McCaffrey, Darren Maxwell and all of the Leitrim players who put in an excellent performance on Sunday in the league gaining a well-deserved victory against Loch Garman

Comhghairdeas- Massive congratulations to Phillip Farrelly and partner Orla on the birth of their new baby boy Donnacha. We are sure this new arrival will be warmly welcomed by both family and friends alike and Donnacha certainly has no worries with such a safe pair of hands holding him for those night feeds. Best of luck to you all!

Club lotto – Folks our club lotto is the lifeblood of the club and supports the day to day running of all of our teams, grounds and club rooms. Scór – Sinsear takes place on February 9th and anybody who would like to sing, recite, be part of a ballad group or if you know it all, the quiz team is where you will be tested. Get in touch with any Club officer.

‘Ireland Lights Up’ – Ballinamore Lights Up – There was a great crowd at the pitch last Thursday evening for operation transformation and we hope everyone can brave the cold and make it again this Thursday! Everyone is welcome, no matter what your fitness level or whether you want to run, walk or jog or to just meet with your friends for a chat

Comhbhrón – Everyone at the club would like to pass on our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the late Ivan Price who has sadly passed away. Thoughts and prayers go out to all of Ivan’s family and friends at this difficult time.

Leitrim Girls U13 Sponsorship – Leitrim Girls U13 Development Squad is the chosen group up for the next 8 weeks in the Community Fund Blue Token box in Tesco Ballinamore starting Monday the 7th of January – please support and spread the word

Clubrooms Historical Display – It is planned to put up a permanent display of photographs and memorabilia relating to the club in the clubrooms. Apart from photos, this could include old jerseys, programmes or any items relating to club players or successes in past years in football, hurling, Scór nó aon rud eile.
