Barna Recycling U13 League – St. Joseph’s U13’s began their league campaign with a trip to Drumkeeran last Saturday morning. Played in difficult conditions it was very much a game of two halves with our hosts having the better of the exchanges in the first half. However, a better second half from our boys saw us run out winners on a final score of St. Joseph’s 1-07 Drumkeeran 0-06. Our next game is at home to Glenfarne next weekend. Keep an eye out for fixture details.

Newtowngore Engineering Under 17 League – Our U17’s played Allen Gaels in round 1 of the league last Sunday morning in Carrigallen. Playing with the benefit of a strong wind in the 1st half, our lads built up a good lead by halftime. Despite not having it all our own way against the wind in the second half we ran out convincing winners on a score line of St. Joseph’s 4-14 Allen Gaels 1-07. Next up is a home game against Glencar/Manorhamilton next weekend. Date, time & venue TBC.
