Melvin Gaels GAA Club Notes 21/02/2019

Club Draw – The Club would like to thank everyone who supported the National Club Draw. This is a very important fundraiser for Melvin Gaels. The local draw winners were, Hamper- Tony Feeney, C/o DM Auctioneers, Manorhamilton, Fuel Voucher – John Mc Gowan, Aghaderrard, Kinlough and Club Jacket- Jimmy Mc Gowan, Wood View, Kinlough.

Thanks, Supervalu – The Club would like to thank Cosgrave’s Supervalu, Bundoran for the sponsorship of 100 footballs to Bord na nOg. The footballs were presented at the Community Centre, Kinlough.

Club Walk – Melvin Gaels Healthy Club Committee is joining up with Operation Transformation, the GAA and the Community, for Ireland Lights Up 2019. The walk continues every Thursday night until February 21.The track will be lit up from 7pm to 8pm and everyone of all ages is asked to come along and join in this free weekly event.

50/50 Draw – The winners of the 50/50 draw last week were Joe and Christine Mc Gowan, Melvin Fields, Kinlough who won €304.Get your ticket now for this week’s draw.

Mark on the Park – The support for “Mark on the park” has been excellent so far. Thanks to all who have supported the project so far. Unfortunately, a lot more support is needed and the draw takes place at Easter. If you have not supported the project yet, please try to do so. This development will be a fantastic asset to the future generations of Kinlough and surrounding areas. The Committee is appealing to anyone who has yet to support the development to try to help, by joining the draw or sponsoring in any way. The fundraising involves “Make Your Mark on Melvin Park” for €100 which will represent a square of Melvin Park, entry into a draw, prizes 5x €1000, and your name on a commemorative plaque.
