This training prepares participants to identify persons with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide first aid resources. If you are interested in this event on a very important issue please pm our Facebook page. Places are limited so please get in contact to avoid disappointment.
Lá le Pádraig – Is ainm Naomh Pádraig atá ar ár gClub peile. De réir an traidisiún áitiúil bhunaigh Naomh Pádraig séipéal i nDroim Dhá Thiar. Deirtear freisin gurb é a chéad rogha mar lár-ionad na Críostaíochta in Éirinn é ach gur athraigh sé go hArd Mhacha. Tá baint ag an ainm Droim Liasa (Drumlease) le botháin a d’fhág sé san áit dá lucht leanúna.
Tá an t-ainm Carraig Phádraig St Patrick’s Rock luaite leis an gceantar chun a thaispeaint arís go bhfuil sean-nasc ag Naomh Pádraig leis an áit.
De ghnáth glactar go dtiteann Lá le Pádraig i lár an Earraigh. Bíonn na feirmeoirí ag súil le aimsir níos fearr. Fadó cheap daoine muna raibh na prátaí curtha agat roimh an la seo go raibh tú an-leisciúil! Bain taitneamh as an lá!
