Connacht Wallball Adult Championships

Leitrim’s Ed Lee turned in a fine performance at the Connacht Wallball Adult Championships in Galway last weekend, reaching the Diamond Masters Final on his first competitive outing in the one-wall code. The Fenagh clubman impressed with his determination before losing out to his opponent George Miller from Mayo in the decider. A strong wallball debut for Ed – and there’s plenty more to come.

Best of Luck, Sophie!
Fenagh’s Sophie Kane will make a return trip to Kilglass, Co. Roscommon, next Saturday, October 18th, to compete in the Juvenile Wallball All-Ireland Championships in the Girls Under 14 Singles category. Sophie has been drawn to face Antrim’s Nina McBride in the All-Ireland semifinal. We wish Sophie the best of luck in her quest for victory!

It was far from a straightforward path to victory for Abbie, who was required to overcome three strong Galway and Roscommon opponents, each with the advantage of greater age and experience. Whether leading from the outset or fighting back from behind, Abbie displayed composure and determination beyond her years, ultimately defeating Aoibh Johnston (Roscommon) 15–12 in a thrilling final.
