Coaching Workshop – Coaching Goalkeepers 7pm Thurs May 7th

Goalkeeping has always been an important position on any team but in the last while, a new emphasis has been put onÓgoalkeepers to be the extra link with his outfield players and not just a shot stopper. With this new emphasis onÓgoalkeeping, Leitrim GAA coaching and games have invited two of the Countries top Goalkeepers, former Longford goalkeeper Damien Sheridan and current Offaly goalkeeper Alan Mulhall  to present a workshop entitled “Coaching Goalkeepers”. The workshop is open to all coaches and to any goalkeepers who wish to attend and will take place in Allen Gaels GAA Centre, Drumshanbo at 7pm on Thursday evening May 7th. We would encourage as many coaches and goalkeepers to attend.

Hurling blitz

The first of the National hurling blitz will take place on Saturday next in Longford. Our U14 squad play in Longford Slashers GAA centre, Longford town while the U16 squad play in Edgeworthstown. First game for both squads commences at 11am.
