2023 Leitrim Senior Team Management – Announcement

Leitrim GAA, at its most recent Management Committee Meeting, approved the appointment of Luke Bree as selector/coach to the Leitrim Senior Football Team for the 2023 season.

Luke previously worked as a coach and selector with the Roscommon Senior Footballers in 2022. Previously he was a head coach with the St. Vincent’s Senior Footballers in Dublin, and was a large part of the club’s operation over a ten-year period, playing on the 2014 All-Ireland Club Championship winning team. He is a former Sligo Senior Footballer and is currently a PE teacher based in his native county.

Luke joins Andy Moran, Mike Solan and Barry McWeeney in directly overseeing the fortunes of our Senior Footballers into the 2023 season and we welcome him aboard.

2023 Leitrim Under 17 (Minor) Football Team Manager

Leitrim GAA invites expressions of interest in the position of Leitrim Under 17 (Minor) Football Team Manager for 2023. The deadline for any expressions of interest is 5pm on September 30th, 2022.

If this is a position you think that you may have interest in you are advised to email coachingofficer.leitrim@gaa.ie on or before the deadline date, and you will be provided with an application form.

 

Smith Monumentals IFC Quarter Finals – TICKET INFORMATION

2022 Smith Monumentals Intermediate Football Championship Ticket Information
As we have reached the knock-out stages of the Smith Monumentals Intermediate Football Championship, it is important to note that admission for the remaining games will be by ticket only, in line with what was in operation for the concluding stages of last year’s competitions and which operated seamlessly in 2021.
Tickets for General Admission will be priced at €10 each for next weekend’s IFC games (Quarter Finals) with no concessions for Students/OAPs.   Under 16s will be admitted FOC.

It is imperative to note that there will be no tickets on sale at the Matchday Venue and admission will be by pre-purchased ticket only.

Scór Sinsir 2022

Calling all Leitrim clubs for Scór Sinsir.
Senior Scór will take place on Saturday 8th October in the Mayflower in Drumshanbo. The Tráth na gCeist will start at 6pm with the stage acts commencing at 7:30pm.
Categories for Scór Sinsir include Tráth na gCeist (quiz) Figure Dancing, Solo Singing, Instrumental Music, Recitation, Ballad Group, Novelty Act and Set Dancing.

Connacht Gold Quarter Finals/Relegation Semi Finals – Ticket Information

2022 Connacht Gold Senior Football Championship Ticket Information
As we have reached the knock-out stages of the Connacht Gold Senior Football Championship, including the relegation series, it is important to note that admission for the remaining games will be by ticket only, in line with what was in operation for the concluding stages of last year’s competitions and which operated seamlessly in 2021.  The same procedure will apply at the knockout stages of the Smith Monumentals and Corrib Oil JFCA knockout matches.
Tickets for General Admission will be priced at €10 each for next weekend’s SFC games (Quarter Finals and Relegation Semi finals) with no concessions for Students/OAPs.   Under 16s will be admitted FOC.

The Leitrim GAA Livestream service will be back to cover the Quarter Finals onwards of the Smith Monumentals Intermediate and Connacht Gold Senior Championship.

A Season Pass is now available to purchase for €99 which is a fantastic saving of €56 for the 11 games.

The Season Pass will give you access to the following:

Senior Championship – Quarter (x 2), Semi (x 2), and Final (x 1),
Intermediate Championship – Quarter (x 2), Semi (x 2) and Final (x 1),
& the Corrib Oil Junior A Final (x 1)

The draws for the Smith Monumentals IFC Round 4 was made earlier and are as follows

The late Patrick McNulty, Rossinver, County Leitrim.

Leitrim GAA would like to offer its condolences to the family of the late Patrick McNulty, Rossinver, County Leitrim, who passed to his eternal reward on Wednesday last. Patrick was a tremendous supporter of his club Melvin Gaels and also the Leitrim GAA County teams. On an annual basis, Patrick travailed the highways and byways of his native North Leitrim area raising funds for the Leitrim GAA Supporters Club. He loved to attend matches at Avant Money Páirc Seán Mac Diarmada and far beyond in support of his native county over the years.

We extend our deepest sympathies to his brother Hugh and extended family and friends. Patrick’s funeral arrangements are located below.
