Melvin Gaels GAA Club Notes 13/12/2018

Big GAA Event – Put the 12th of January 2019 in your diary as this is when the Club will host a major GAA event in the Great Northern Hotel, Bundoran. There will be many well-known people from the GAA  and others taking part. Tickets for the event will be on sale from Friday next. Proceeds from the ticket sales will go towards the ongoing Community Development Project and proceeds from a grand raffle on the night will go to the Club. More detail on the plans in the coming weeks and on the Melvin Gaels Facebook page.

50/50 Draw – The winner of last week’s draw was Nuala and Mark Cleary, Cloone, Kinlough. They won €242. Get your ticket now for this week’s draw.

You can now play 5050 as a Direct Debit or Annual Ticket. Never miss out on buying your weekly ticket again!!! And if you are away from home, you can still support Melvin Gaels!

Congratulations – The Club would like to wish congratulations and a long and happy life together to Emlyn Mulligan and Elaine Kearns who got married last Friday.

Get Your Mark on Melvin Park – It is very important that all Club Members help with the fundraising needed to complete the work on Melvin Park. Anyone who has not yet contributed is asked to do so as soon as possible. Contact any member of the Development Committee to purchase your ”Mark” and ensure that the Club will have the facilities everyone can be proud of. The support has been very good so far. The fundraising will involve “Make Your Mark on Melvin Park” for €100 which will represent a square of Melvin Park, entry into a draw, prizes 5x €1000, and your name on a commemorative plaque. To get your “Mark on Melvin Park” contact Spar, Kinlough or Pat at 0871787194 or Katherine at 087 287 0086 or go to www.kinloughcommunitycentre.wordpress.com.

Lights On – The lights will be on at the Training Pitch every evening from 4pm to 9pm as a Health Initiative so that the Community can make use of them on the dark evenings.
