Fun Games/Skills Camp – The club is holding a free6-weekk fun games and skills based camp for all primary school children in the area. Club players Ailish Cornyn and Seamie McMorrow will be the main coaches. It begins on Monday 25th March from 5-6pm in Dowra Resource Centre. Information leaflets with more details will be distributed into the primary school this week. Condolences – The club sympathises sincerely with the Wynne family on the death of Mary Philomena Wynne (Mena), Cornamuckla North, Ballinaglera. May she rest in peace.

Hurling – Commiserations to Carrick Hurlers who were defeated by one point last Sunday in the All Ireland Junior clubsemi-finall. Well done on getting that far and putting on a fine display.

Charity match – Thank you to everyone who supported our charity game on St Stephens day. €1650 was raised, with all proceeds going to SHOUT, the oncology ward at Sligo University Hospital. A massive thank you to everyone for your generosity. Thanks to those who organised the event and to those who made sandwiches and tea on the day and to Tom Maguire for taking photos. It was greatly appreciated.

Wedding Bells – Congratulations to former club player Philip Mcgourty who married Deborah Gilheaney last week. We wish you both a long life of health and happiness together. We also hope to see Philip back in the Glera colours in the future and maybe Deborah in the St Francis colours.
