Ladies – Well done to the St Francis ladies who had a comprehensive victory over Fenagh last Friday. They play Manorhamilton at 1.30pm this Sunday in Ballinaglera. Good luck to the ladies and management.

Congratulations – Well done to the young boys who received their First Holy Communion last Saturday and the young boys and girls who were confirmed the previous week.

Engagement – Congratulations to club player Shane Mulvey who got engaged to Kathy Keegan recently in Australia. We look forward to seeing Shane back in the red and white some time and maybe even Kathy in a St. Francis jersey!

Games/Skills Camp – Well done to all children who took part in the skills camp and the blitz last Sunday in the park. A great day had by all. Thanks to the organisers, parents and club members who helped out in any way.

Dunnes Bar Div 2 League – We play Drumkeerin on Sat eve in round 4, at 7pm in Drumkeerin. All support appreciated.

Games/Skills Camp – There will be fun games and blitz for all primary school children in St. Hugh’s Park, Ballinaglera at 12.30pm on this Sun, 19th May. This concludes the 6-week camp held in Dowra Resource Centre. All parents are invited to attend the blitz. Tea/coffee and refreshments will be available. All club members can come along and show support for our young talented players.

County – Hard luck to Leitrim on Sunday. Hard luck also to the ladies who lost to Sligo. Best of luck against Roscommon this week and especially St Francis representative Michelle Monahan in goals.

Fun Quiz – There will be a quiz in Berry’s Tavern, Drumshanbo on Sat night at 9.30pm in aid of Friends of St. Luke’s Cancer Care. Come along and support this great cause.

Confirmation and First Holy Communion – Congratulations to all the young boys and girls who received their confirmation last Friday in Ballinaglera and best wishes to all receiving their First holy communion this Sat morning.

Games/Skills Camp – The skills camp for primary school children continues on Thurs evening 9th May and Mon 13th May in Dowra Resource Centre. Thanks to all the volunteers in helping to coach the children.

Fun Games/Skills Camp – The club is holding a free6-weekk fun games and skills based camp for all primary school children in the area. Club players Ailish Cornyn and Seamie McMorrow will be the main coaches. It begins on Monday 25th March from 5-6pm in Dowra Resource Centre. Information leaflets with more details will be distributed into the primary school this week. Hurling – Commiserations to Carrick Hurlers who were defeated by one point last Sunday in the All Ireland Junior clubsemi-finall. Well done on getting that far and putting on a fine display.
