From the first whistle St Josephs controlled the second half. Two points in the first minute by Clare Owens and Michelle Heslin were signs of what was to come. Sandra Brady played a long ball in Michelle Heslin latched on to it and goaled easily to give St Josephs a 13 point lead. Erin Farrell responded with a cracking goal. But St Josephs continued to dominate around the middle where Sharon Kerrigan and Alana Bohan were superb.
