Leitrim Gaels GAA Club Notes 11/06/2018

Under 12 League – The under 12 team continued their Longford Leitrim Leauge with two more wins over the last week. On Thursday their emerged winners against Gortleteragh 4-09 to 1-07 and on Monday eveing they had a big win over Bornacoola 8-15 to 2-08. They play St Vincents away tomorrow Thursday at 7:30 in Drumlish. They started their Longford Leitrim league on Thursday evening when they hosted Wolfe tones from Longford. They showed they true skill and passon and came out winners 6-06 to 2-06. They are way to Gortletheragh tomorrow evening Thursday at 7:30pm. They are out again on Monday evening, hosting Bornacoola in Leitrim at 7:30pm.

Monster Draw – Tickets are now on sale for our monster draw. With prizes of a Bathroom/kitchen fit out worth €2500, €500 holiday voucher, overnight stay in the Lough Erne resort, All Ireland and Rugby tickets, and numerous other cash prizes. Tickets are €10 each or 3 for €20.

Under 20’s – the county under 20’s were knocked out of the Connaught championship on Saturday. The club was well represented on the team with Narada Protrasco, Stephen Mc Dermott, Donal Moreton, Patrick Flynn and Shaun Chandler.

Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camp Registration – Registration for Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps 2018 is currently underway online via the website, https://www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie/booking/ . Please note: The online booking facility will close at noon on the Wednesday preceding the week of the camps. This year and going forward, Registrations will NOT be accepted on the first morning of camp. Registration can be completed using the online facility above, or through your local GAA club, at the club registration evening, which will be held in all clubs on Tuesday 30/5/17 at 7pm. The club registration evening will be co-ordinated by the club-coaching officer. COST: €60 for 1st child. €50 for 2nd child. €40 for 3rd and subsequent children. The camp will take place in Leitrim Gaels Community field from 23rd – 27th July.
