Schools Football – Well done to both the Boys and Girls from St Josephs National school who won their respective Cumann na mBunscol finals on Saturday last. The girl’s team saw off the challenge of Drumshanbo National School in the Division 1 Shield Final. This was followed up by the boy’s team who captured the Division 1 League title by beating Annaduff National School.

Dunnes Bar Division 1 – The senior team returns to auction in the Dunnes Bar Division 1 league on Sunday next when they host Aughawillian in Leitrim. The game throws in at 2pm. All support would be very much welcome.

Under 15 – The under 15 team had a busy week gone by. On Thursday, last they played Annaduff and came out victorious, winning 3-05 to 1-09. Then on Monday evening, they hosted Melvin Gaels and secured another win 2-13 to 1-14. They play Drumkerran at home tomorrow Thursday at 7pm

Swan Bar Division 4 – The division 4 team earned themselves another win in the league when they saw off Aughavas on Saturday evening on a scoreline of 4-11 to 2-06. The team has no game this weekend.

Westlink Coaches Under 15 – The under 15 team got back on the winning track in the Under 15 Westlink Coaches Division 2 league on Friday evening last beating Mohill 5-11 to 1-08. They play Annaduff away tomorrow Thursday.

Leitrim Hurlers – Best of luck to Stephen Goldrick, Mark Breheny, Enda, Colm and Liam Moreton and the Leitrim Hurlers against Lancashire in the Lory Meagher Cup on Saturday. The game is being played at the Old Bedians Sports Ground, Manchester.

American Tea Party – The Village Spot Festival are holding an American Tea Party as a fundraiser on Saturday the 26th of January 2019 at 8pm in Leitrim Gaels Community Field Clubhouse. Music on the night will be by the great Mickey Clerkin. There will be great prizes available on the night. This will be one of a few fundraisers for the revival of The Village Spot Festival which is planned for August Bank a Holiday weekend. There are a limited number of tables available.
