Mohill GAA Club Notes 27/09/2018

Senior Championship – Our seniors will play great rivals Manorhamilton on Saturday evening next at 5pm in Pairc Seán in the Senior Semi-Final and support is vital at this stage of the competition.

Intermediate Relegation Final – Our second string are holding on for dear life to their Intermediate status and have a last chance this week-end at 11 am when they play Aughavas in Cloone, watch fixtures for verification. Cloone proved the stronger side on Saturday last and they deservedly will stay up for 2019. The panel and scorers was. C Baxter, K Reilly, N Conboy, E Harkin 0-1, K Flynn, P Casserly 0-1, R Bohan,J Reynolds, T Mulligan, J Boyle 0-1, S Flynn 1-2, S McGowan 0-1, F McGuinness 1-0, S Kennedy 0-1, D Gordon, J McGuinness, J Farrell, R Murphy.

Under 15 – Last week the under 15s continued their winning streak with a victory over St Mary’s. Their next outing is away to Allen Gaels on Saturday morning at 12pm. Scorers on Thursday last were, Sean Bohan 4-4, Conor Keegan 1-0, Aongus McCrann 0-1, Keoghan Curran 0-1, Conor Quinn 0-1,

Eslin in semi-final – We wish Eslin the best of luck in their semi-final on Sunday at 2.30 in Carrick with Annaduff. Great to see the two parish teams doing so well

Best of Luck Mohill Ladies – Get out and support the ladies who contest the Intermediate Final with St Francis’ in Ballinamore on Sunday next at 12 pm.

Tickets for sale – All members are now selling €20 tickets as part of fundraising, First Prize is €3000, Second Prize €1000 plus numerous other prizes. Be generous, we do a great job for everyone.

Walking Track – The new Walking track around the pitch will be officially opened by ‘Ireland’s Fittest Family’, The Beirnes and athlete Eanna Madden on Saturday, Oct 14, time to be arranged. More details next week.
