Under 20 Champions – A great day for the Under 20 team on Sunday when they defeated St Manchan’s to win the first Under 20 A Final. This was a hard fought but deserved win. Although the game was close and the lead changed a number of times the Gaels never gave up and finished strongly. This is a fantastic way to finish 2018 and these young lads have done the Club proud. Congratulations to Darragh Rooney who won the Mat of the Match award. Well done to all the mentors, Gareth, Liam, Joe and Peter. Great work by everyone involved. Thanks to all who came along and gave support and all who gave the team such a great welcome home.

Anyone who has not yet contributed is asked to do so as soon as possible. Contact any member of the Development Committee to purchase your ”Mark” and ensure that the Club will have the facilities everyone can be proud of. The support has been very good so far. The fundraising will involve “Make Your Mark on Melvin Park” for €100 which will represent a square of Melvin Park, entry into a draw, prizes 5x €1000, and your name on a commemorative plaque. To get your “Mark on Melvin Park” contact Spar, Kinlough or Pat at 0871787194 or Katherine at 087 287 0086 or go to www.kinloughcommunitycentre.wordpress.com.
